Nostalgia Nuggets is where I like to share a curated list every Sunday of retro & nostalgia-themed articles, stories, and posts that I’ve come across in the last week or so. It gives you a chance to escape the daily grind, and just sit back and pass the time reading about what I call the good old days. So with that in mind, here are some things I wanted to share with you this week.

To start with, I want to highlight a particular article to link to this week. It was in the news this week that Kentucky Fried Chicken is moving their headquarters to Texas. While this isn’t really a big thing, some have wondered if they intend to change their name to Texas Fried Chicken. That seems ludicrous, but there was a time they did something just as head-scratching, and that was when they opened a line of restaurants called Kentucky Roast Beef. Oh yeah, it happened. Our friend at Retroist did a marvelous job covering this whole thing once upon a time, and I wanted to shine a light on that old article for everyone to enjoy this week:
